Kultuer 10
It is incredible that in a time when we are so socially connected there can be such stereotyping and ignorance between cultures. The German affinity for the skit "Dinner for One" isn't rude or malicious, but it does exemplify how little the international community truly understands each other. Americans and Englishmen don't find the skit funny and live in total ignorance of the comedy routines existence, but to Germans this sort of humor defines our societies. I guess this occurrence is a bit similar to Americans loving the Crocodile Dundee movies, which were just terrible and stupid stereotypes of Australians. One would hope that over time these social barriers would be removed, but I think they are here to stay. Hey they are kind of funny and I guess they give each relationship a little flavor.
