The divisions and suffering of the German populace are very sad. They actually remind me quite a bit of the divide between Southerners and Northerners in the United States. The stereotype of backward, stupid hicks in the south and uptight, rude straightedges in the north also holds true in America. I feel especially knowledgeable on the subject as I have lived in both Minnesota and Texas for most of the years of my life.

The dividing factors between both the German south and north and the American north and south are the same. Religion, politics, culture and dialects all separate these very similar peoples. In America the civil war also plays a large role in dividing our nation, and I am sure that in Germany that the 40 years war between Catholics and Protestants was also influential in culturally dividing the country.

Germans are such an organized and rules oriented people that I would have thought the two nations would calmly reunite under the watchful eye of their governments. This clearly didn't happen, but I don't think this east v west split will be long lasting. There seems to be far more separating the peoples of south and northern Germany. Maybe a north, south divide is more natural, that is after all what America is divided between.

Overall it does not matter who is right or wrong in this East vs West fighting. Germany is a great and powerful nation, and we can all only hope that the nation realizes that more keeps them together than tears them apart. America has lasted for years and I have faith Germany can do the same. With a more tolerant and Westernized youth, one can only hope this petty divide subsides.

AMD 6

Für mein AMD 6, ich sehe "South Park" in Deutsch auf southparkstudios.com. Die Episode war "Casa Bonita" und es war sehr gut und lustig. In "Casa Bonita" Cartman log an und er schloß Butters in einem Luftschutzbunker ab. Cartman geht zu casa bonita für kyles Geburtstag.

Wenn Leute entdecken, dass Cartman mittel zu Butter war, rennt Cartman zu casa bonita weg. Nach dem Polizei fand Cartman die Episode beendet. In die Episode, ich höre Die Wörter "Mexikanisches Restaurant," "Das Ende der Zivilisation," der märtyrer" und "Lassen Sie besiedeln uns die Erde neu."

Ich mag die Episode, weil es mir eine große Gelegenheit gegeben hat, "Südlichen Park" zu genießen, verbessert mein Deutsch und lernt ein paar neues Deutsch Wörter.
