These articles make Germans seem extremely rude and very OCD, but I do not blame them for their ways. You go to someone else's country, you are expected to follow their customs. I found it very amusing how in the Autobahn article nearly all of the things listed off ended with "you'll get a ticket or you'll die." The supermarket did not surprise me since last semester we read an article I think was labeled "No Blood No Entschuldigung". I feel like this kind of behavior is found in all major cities around the world and that the elderly usually exploit their benefits with ruthless efficiency. If I go to Germany, I feel like I would get really annoyed at people trying to cut in front of me and might take the approach of being a hard ass. On a side note, it is really disgusting that they do not remove molding food in the supermarket. In America, I am positive that the supermarket would be sued in court for sure for that kind of stuff.
